“Risk Assessment: The Essential Ingredient for Safe Food in Latin America and the Caribbean” is the motto of the third Latin American and Caribbean Risk Assessment Symposium (LARAS) in San José, Costa Rica. Over three days, food safety experts from Latin America and Europe will discuss current developments and establish contacts. The aim of the symposium is to contribute to new approaches and effective co-operation strategies for food safety in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The symposium will take place from 10 to 12 December 2024 in San José, Costa Rica. Participation is possible on site and online.
The symposium will be held in Spanish and English with simultaneous translation.

“Evaluación de Riesgos: El Ingrediente Esencial para Alimentos Inocuos en América Latina y el Caribe” es el lema del tercer Simposio de Evaluación de Riesgo para Latinoamérica y el Caribe (LARAS), que se realizará en San José, Costa Rica. Durante tres días, expertas y expertos en inocuidad alimentaria de América Latina y Europa debatirán sobre los avances actuales y establecerán contactos. El objetivo del simposio es contribuir a nuevos enfoques y estrategias de cooperación eficaces para la inocuidad alimentaria en América Latina y el Caribe.
El simposio tendrá lugar del 10 al 12 de diciembre de 2024 en San José, Costa Rica. La participación es posible de manera presencial o virtual.
El simposio se llevará a cabo en español e inglés y contará con traducción simultánea.
